The following is a recording of the third illustration educators breakfast club event that took place on the 1st of April 2026.
This years theme is ‘Agitation-Oscillation-Embodiment’ and framed our discussion.We were joined by Rachel Hill, CEO of the Association of Illustrators. Rachel took time to talk to us about her work on the ‘Brave New World’ report produced by a coalition of creator-led advocacy groups, including The Association of Illustrators (AOI), The Society of Authors (SoA), the Independent Society of Musicians (ISM), Equity, and the Association of Photographers (AOP). Rachel walked us through the process of developing and authoring the report, outlining its key findings and it’s proposed recommendations.
